The Tool Setting and Troubleshooting NQF 4 skills programme equips production personnel with the technical competence required to set tooling, monitor machine performance, and resolve equipment-related problems in manufacturing environments. Aligned to Unit Standards 335863, 335856 and 12455 and MERSETA approval requirements, the programme develops practical skills in diagnosing faults, planning and executing tooling changes, and ensuring optimal machine operation. Learners also gain an understanding of safety, health and environmental responsibilities, enabling them to support compliant, efficient and safe production processes.
